  • Result:  $725,000 for 17.5% equity

Brittany and Kim brought their celebrity merchandising company, ZinePak to the tank. They produce the ultimate fan collectables and exclusive merchandise for entertainers to sell to their ” super fans”. Some of their celebrity clients include Miranda Lambert, Katy Perry, Kiss, Brad Paisley, and Florida Georgia Line.

In year leading up to filming, the ladies had gross revenues in excess of $3 million, and were on target to hit $4 million by that year’s end.  The company’s lifetime revenue was well over $30 million, with a large percentage of their earnings coming from an exclusive deal that have with Walmart. The sharks were quite impressed with their sales numbers and achievements.

Kevin O’Leary was interested, and offered $725,000 in exchange for 35% equity. Mark Cuban decided to drop out, but Daymond John offered $725,000 in exchange for 25% equity. Lori Greiner and Robert Herjavec teamed up to offer Brittany and Kim $725,000 in exchange for just 20% equity, but the ladies then countered all of the interested sharks at 14% equity.

In response, Kevin dropped out, but Daymond lowered his equity down to 20%. Robert and Lori countered at 17.5%, and their offer was accepted. What happened next for their company? Keep reading our ZinePak update to find out!

Our ZinePak update is somewhat interesting. The company is still in business but has rebranded and changed their name to Bright Ideas Only. It appears that Brittany has stepped down from the company, but Kim continues to operate it. The company is still estimated to generate more than $3 million in revenue and has an ever growing list of celebrity clients. You can find out more on the Bright Ideas Only website.
