Shark Tank Face Blok Update

Face Blok update

  • Entrepreneurs: Irina Blok
  • Business: Fashionable surgical masks
  • Ask: $50,000 for 30% equity
  • Result: No deal
  • Sharks: None

Irina brought her fashionable surgical masks to Shark Tank Season 1 and explained that she wanted to start a new trend and make face masks exciting. She passed out samples of Face Blok to the sharks to try on. Each mask featured a different design.

Since Irina didn’t have very many sales, the sharks had a very hard time with the idea of making an investment. Robert Herjavec went as far as to say that Face Blok wasn’t even really a company, but rather a product in the prototype phase of development.

Kevin Harrington and Barbara Corcoran couldn’t make an investment because it was too niche, so they both dropped out. It didn’t take very long for all of the remaining sharks to drop out as well.

With no offer from any of the sharks, Irina was forced to leave the tank without a deal. What happened next for her company? Keep reading our Face Blok update to find out!

We have interesting news to share in our Face Blok update. It appears that the company is no longer in business, although it would have been a great idea in 2020 with the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, Irina’s story didn’t end with Face Blok. She went on to create the Google Android logo that is commonly recognized all over the world. This will be our final Face Blok update!
