David Cox entered the tank to pitch his service, PC Classes Online, which he alleged was geared to help assist older individuals in learning how to operate their PCs. To help pitch the product, David brought in two-time Emmy Award-winner Bruce Vilanch to provide laughs.
David told the sharks that his business plan involved bundling his service with major PC manufacturers, so that it would be automatically included in new PCs. Daymond John asked if David had any sales, only to find that David had 115 members sign on in the past six months, amounting to $35,000 total.
As sharks began to chime in with their criticisms of David’s business plan, the pitch took a turn for the worse. David shared that the company did not pay their instructors, but instead, the teachers could solicit private lessons to the customers. He then also shared that the company charged the teacher’s a 30% finder’s fee on any private lessons that were coordinated through his platform.
Sadly for David, all of the sharks dropped out, one by one, unhappy with his business model. How did things go for David afterwards, given the brutal pitch? Keep reading our PC Classes Online update to find out!
