CreaProducts Home Beauty Tools Update | Shark Tank Season 7

While trying to trim her own hair at home, Mai Lieu struggled to get an even cut and was tired of paying for salon visits to fix her mistakes. That pushed her to create CreaClip—a simple tool that helps people cut and style their hair with clean, professional-looking results. It saves money and makes at-home haircuts easier. Next, she passed around samples of her most popular products.

CreaProducts is a line of DIY beauty tools designed to fix common haircut mistakes at home. Her main product, the CreaClip, helps users cut their own hair with clean, even results.

Additionally, the products work for simple trims, bangs, and layered cuts. They’re easy to use and come with video tutorials for guidance.

She also introduced CreaNails and CreaLash, designed for easier nail painting and makeup application.

Robert Herjavec asked Mai whether the investment included all the products. Mai said yes.

She shared a personal story. Growing up, her family couldn’t afford haircuts, so her mom cut her hair at home. The results weren’t great, and she often ended up with short, uneven bangs.

The CreaClip sells for $30. CreaNails and CreaLash are priced at $24.95 each.

Customers pay for shipping separately. The tools are simple, reusable, and don’t require any professional training.

Mai sold $550,000 worth of CreaClips in one year. One viral video helped her generate $150,000 in a single week.

Her videos have reached over 20 million views. She built a following of 30,000 fans and used YouTube to drive sales.

Meanwhile, Barbara Corcoran asked about Mai’s background. Mai said she had 20 years of experience in the beauty industry and was a licensed hairstylist.

She promoted the business herself. Her strategy focused on social media and video content.

This approach helped her reach a large audience with little upfront cost. Her profit margin was 66%, and she kept $155,000 in profit.

Robert empathizes with Mai’s background as an immigrant. He knew the drive that was instilled in her, but he didn’t have an interest in the product itself and went out.

Similarly, Mark Cuban and Kevin also went out because they didn’t feel they were the right fit for the product. This left Barbara and Lori Greiner.

However, Barbara had a different opinion. She said Mai was doing great and didn’t need an investor. She wished Mai the best, but also went out.

In contrast, Lori made an offer of $200,000 for 25% equity. She acknowledged the growth but said the products needed more development. She felt 25% was fair given the work involved.

In response, Mai countered with 20% equity, but Lori held firm at first, only to counter again at 22.5%.

Ultimately, Mai agreed to Lori’s offer and left with a deal.

Shark Tank CreaProducts Update

Our CreaProducts update found that Mai Lieu’s deal with Lori Greiner didn’t close.

However, the exposure paid off—CreaProducts saw a massive 5,000% sales spike following the episode.

In 2016, she took part in a Canadian speaking tour and was featured as a model in the 2017 Honokaa calendar.

Our CreaProducts update research found that the company is still in business and has grown to around $3 million in revenue per year.

CreaClips are available on the CreaProducts website and on Amazon.

Once we receive another CreaProducts update, we will let you know.
