Katamco Toilet Timer Update | Season 12

Toilet Timer founders Adam and Katie Stephy pitched their company during Shark Tank Season 12. After a successful pitch, they secured a deal with Mark Cuban at $200,000 for 25% equity. Here’s a quick recap of everything that happened during the pitch as well as news on a Toilet Timer update after Shark Tank.

Shark Tank Toilet Timer Update

Toilet Timer update

  • Entrepreneur: Adam and Katie Stephy
  • Business: Toilet timer gag gift
  • Ask: $200,000 for 10% equity
  • Result: $200,000 for 25% equity
  • Shark: Mark Cuban

The Katamco Toilet Timer appeared on Shark Tank Season 12 Episode 7 and caught the interest of Mark Cuban. As the name implies, this gag gift is perfect for the person in your life that spends just a little too much time in the bathroom. When you flip it over, a timer will begin and will go off after a few minutes, reminding the person to get off their phone and back to their family!

Obviously, this is a goofy gag gift, but surprisingly it sold $294,000 of product in 2019 and is expecting to do $1,000,000 or more in 2020. Prior to appearing on Shark tank, Katamco Toilet Timer had sold $318,000 in products already in 2020. This was enough to catch the eye of Mark Cuban, who secured a deal of $200,000 for 25% equity with Katamco.

During research for our Toilet Timer update, we found that the company is still in business and received a big boost in sales after its episode aired. While there haven’t been any public updates on sales since the episode aired, it appears things are still going well for Adam and Katie.

With a handful of products for sale on its website and a deal with Mark Cuban, we are confident that the future is bright for our next Toilet Timer update.
