Coffee Brand Gifts Update

  • Entrepreneurs: Dan Claffey
  • Business: Coffee-branded novelty gifts
  • Ask: $300,000 for 40% equity
  • Result: No deal
  • Sharks: None

Dan’s company, Coffee Brand Gifts, has produced dozens of board games, puzzles, stuffed animals, and toys with coffee-branded names on them. He actually trademarked coffee terms and is the only person in the USA who can now use them on products.

After conducting a variety of surveys in coffee shops around the United States, Dan believes his product would sell rapidly.

The sharks were skeptical about the idea and were concerned when they heard that Dan had no sales. Barbara Corcoran was the first shark to drop out due to his lack of sales.

Eventually, Daymond John, Kevin Harrington, Robert Herjavec, and Kevin O’Leary all dropped out for the same reason.

Will no offers from the sharks, Dan was forced to leave without a deal. What happened next for his company? Keep reading our Coffee Brand Gifts update to find out!

We have sad news to share in our Coffee Brand Gifts update. Though there was a short-term boost in growth after the episode aired, that success didn’t last long.
