Shark Tank 50 State Capitals in 50 Minutes Pitch

Shark Tank 50 State Capitals in 50 Minutes Update
  • Entrepreneur: Ken Bradford
  • Business: Educational Card Game
  • Ask: $155,000 for 10% equity
  • Result:  No deal
  • Sharks: None

Ken began his pitch by emphasizing the need for fun and effective educational tools, introducing his solution: 50 State Capitals in 50 Minutes.

He sought an investment to expand this innovative card game, which teaches children the capitals of all 50 U.S. states.

It features flashcards with state shapes, capital city names, and cartoons to create an engaging learning experience.

The deck uses phonetics for pronunciation and word associations to help children remember the capitals.

Additionally, players can use the cards for a memory game, matching state and capital flashcards.

This product aims to be a comprehensive solution for parents and educators seeking an enjoyable and effective way to teach children the U.S. state capitals.

However, Ken had only completed a prototype five weeks earlier.

When he revealed that 50 State Capitals in 50 Minutes had generated virtually no sales, this raised significant concerns amongst the sharks.

Kevin O’Leary immediately withdrew from negotiations.

Barbara Corcoran expressed doubt about the game’s value, and she dropped out of the deal.

Daymond John and Kevin Harrington also exited due to the lack of sales.

The sharks worried that parents might not buy this educational card game, and school districts showed no clear interest.

Ultimately, Ken left without a deal.

Now, let’s get a quick 50 State Capitals in 50 Minutes update.

Shark Tank 50 State Capitals in 50 Minutes Update

Our research on the 50 State Capitals in 50 Minutes update revealed that the company struggled to gain traction after its Shark Tank appearance.

Moreover, the company primarily sold the product on Amazon due to the lack of a website and social media presence.

While Ken put effort into designing the cards and selecting educational keywords, the market response was underwhelming.

In fact, the game received mixed reviews on Amazon; some customers appreciated its educational value, while others dismissed it as a poor concept.

At the time of writing our 50 State Capitals in 50 Minutes update, we found that the game can still be found on Amazon and several affiliate websites. However, at the time of writing, the game is currently unavailable.

However, it has minimal visibility and sales, marking its decline as a viable business venture.

It looks like the game is just a side hustle for Ken, but if anything changes, we will be back for another 50 State Capitals in 50 Minutes update.
