According to Adam and Derek, Laid Brand is a company that sells pheromone-enriched hair products. On top of helping protect and hydrate hair, the pheromones help enhance hair color. For girls, these pheromones are perfect for making them feel more confident.
However, as they were presenting, Robert Herjavec couldn’t help but point out a glaring problem with their brand—the name. But, as Adam and Derek explained, “provocative” names are common when it comes to beauty products.
After casting a cloud of doubt because of their name, Adam and Derek had a chance to impress the sharks with the sales. The only problem was that they didn’t have any. Adam and Derek claim that they’ve only done a pilot test, so they haven’t actually sold anything. As a result, the sharks weren’t convinced about the product and how well it would do on the market.
Because Adam and Derek failed to sell the sharks on the product’s potential, Robert went out. The same went for Kevin O’Leary and Lori Greiner, followed by Mark Cuban and Barbara Corcoran.
