Rosa told the sharks that her product is featured in hundreds of stores and has already generated $1.4 million for the current calendar year. Further, she is hopeful that the revenue projections could be exceeded in the future with additional launches into retail grocery chains.

Despite over a million in sales, Wildwonder isn’t profitable yet. A single can costs about $0.90 to make and the retail price is listed at $3.49. Rosa believes that she can lower the production cost to $0.70 within the next year to improve her profitability.

Kevin O’Leary liked the product but told Rosa that the equity was way too low and dropped out of the negotiations.

Lori Greiner and Mark Cuban felt that the investment was way too risky, so they dropped out as well.

Rosa was running out of options and Barbara Corcoran was not at all interested in making an investment in a beverage company, so her last option would be guest shark Tony Xu.

Thankfully Tony was interested, but he wanted 9% equity in exchange for $500,000. Rosa made a small adjustment to the deal, converting 3% of the equity into advisory shares. Tony was fine with that and he and Rosa shook hands on a deal.

After leaving the tank with a deal, let’s get a quick look at our Wildwonder update.

Since airing on Shark Tank, Rosa has continued to look for ways to cut costs by scaling her company. With Tony on her team, we expect that he will be able to advise her on how to tweak the company to increase profitability.

Further, after being featured on Shark Tank Wildwonder has received a big boost in sales, which will hopefully turn into repeat customers.
