EyeWris Update: What Happened to the Foldable Reading Glasses?

Mark Singer kept losing his reading glasses while working in his woodshop, even though he left pairs all over the place. Frustrated, he got the idea to work with his son, Kenzo Singer, to create EyeWris: foldable glasses you can wear on your wrist, so they’re always easy to find.

These glasses are sturdy, smudge-proof, and made to last. After launching Kickstarter in 2020, Mark and Kenzo decided to bring EyeWris to Shark Tank Season 14.

Let’s take a look at what happened during and after Shark Tank and get an Eyewris update!

EyeWris Shark Tank Pitch

Kenzo and Mark began their pitch by demonstrating how the EyeWris readers transform instantly from wristwear to eyewear, solving the problem of misplacing reading glasses.

They need an investment to expand marketing efforts and bring their innovative wrist-worn reading glasses to a broader audience.

The sharks were impressed to learn that the EyeWris glasses are patented in the USA, China, and Japan, with European patents pending.

Kenzo and Mark shared that each pair of EyeWris reading glasses costs $30.50 to produce and sells for $110, including shipping.

They launched their website in 2021 and sold $28,000 worth of foldable reading glasses within the first nine months.

This number seemed low to the sharks, and Kezo was quick to share that he was intentionally spending just $45 daily on marketing. He wanted to keep costs low while they figured things out before they ramped up their marketing budget.

Did Eyewris Get a Deal on Shark Tank?

Yes, Eyewris got a deal on Shark Tank Season 14. All five sharks teamed up to offer $125,000 for 20% equity.

When Daymond John asked why they needed a shark, Mark became emotional.

He shared that he had built the well-known brand Gorilla Glue and successfully sold it a few years ago.

He explained that he lacked the energy to build another company and wanted to leave the business in experienced and trustworthy hands, like those of the sharks.

This made Lori Greiner emotional and caught her interest. Kevin O’Leary felt that he could help Mark and Kenzo blow this up and offered $50,000 for 10%.

Mark Cuban and Barbara Corcoran also expressed interest in making a deal, and Kevin asked the entrepreneurs to step into the hall for a moment.

When Kevin called them back in, all five sharks were interested in making a deal. At the end of the pitch, EyeWris got a deal with all five sharks for $125,000 for 20% equity.

Did the Deal With The Sharks Go Through?

EyeWris Update After Shark Tank

At the time of writing, there is no public indication that the Shark’s deal with EyeWris went through.

While we can’t say for certain, it seems possible that the reading glasses deal didn’t go through. Or at least not with all five Sharks.

Typically, after a deal is made, it goes through a due diligence process. This allows the Sharks to verify the information from the pitch and also allows the entrepreneur to have more discussions with the Sharks about the terms of the deal.

A lot of times, deals that were made on the show fall apart for various reasons. Unfortunately, most of the time, that information is not made publicly available.

However, when a deal goes through, there are typically a lot of signs. For example, the entrepreneur and the Sharks usually post about the company or deal on social media. We weren’t able to find any posts from the Eyewris team or the Sharks with updates after Shark Tank.

Another thing to look for is the entrepreneur discussing their time on Shark Tank in a podcast or interview. Most of the time, if they get a deal, they will talk about what it’s been like working with a Shark. However, we were unable to find any interviews with Kenzo or Mark.

We’ve reached out to EyeWris for more information and will update you if we hear back!

What Happened to EyeWris After Shark Tank

Shortly after airing, our EyeWris update found that the company sold out its initial inventory. With increased interest, they began accepting pre-orders in July 2023.

During that time, they also expanded their product line to include new styles and colors, aiming to appeal to a broader customer base.

While on , Kenzo mentioned that the glasses sold for $110. However, prices have since dropped to $89, making them more affordable.

Our EyeWris update did find that the company has not posted on social media since July 2024, which is a bit odd and usually a sign that things aren’t going well. Prior to this, they were posting multiple times a month.

However, as of October 2025, a quick check of the Facebook Ad Library shows that EyeWris is running multiple different Facebook ads and is still very much in business.

Unfortunately, our EyeWris update was not able to find any verified revenue or net worth information. While we don’t have a specific number to share, it’s likely that revenue has significantly increased thanks to the exposure from

Based on the Sharks’ deal, EyeWris had a net worth of $625,000 at the time of the pitch. While it’s impossible to say what its net worth is after , it’s almost certainly increased and is likely over $1 million.

We have reached out to EyeWris for an update after and will let you know if we hear back!

What Are Customers Saying About EyeWris?

For the most part, our Eyewris update found that customers love the foldable glasses! There are multiple positive reviews discussing the design, strength, and durability.

However, there are some negative reviews about the one-size-fits-all claim.

Despite the negative reviews, it seems the good outweighs the bad. EyeWris also offers a 21-day return policy with “a full refund minus a restocking and return label fee of $12.”

Where Can You Buy EyeWris?

At the time of writing, EyeWris is only available through its website. There are options for men’s and women’s glasses with multiple colors.

The foldable reading glasses are currently priced at $89, as of October 2025.
