Kalaii Griffin II came onto Shark Tank Season 14 to discuss his company, Shred Skinz. He explained how his company developed sauna suits for fitness and workouts. Some of the sharks were impressed with the product that Shred Skinz had created, but some of them were not yet confident in whether the product would actually sell to customers. This is where a shift from the concept of the product occurred and the sharks wanted to hear about concrete financial numbers.

Kalaii explained his company’s sales numbers over the last three years and was excited to express that his current projections for the 2022 calendar year showed sales growth of more than $250,000 in gross revenue.

Kevin O’Leary didn’t see any way for him to invest or get his money back, so he dropped out without making an offer. Lori Greiner admitted that she couldn’t provide value, and dropped out as well.

Guest shark Daniel Lubetzky loved Kalaii and thought that he could help the business, and offered exactly $60,000 for 20%. Mark Cuban jumped in at the last moment and also made the offer that Daniel had previously stated. For the record, both offers were exactly what Kalaii was seeking when he came onto the show.

Kalaii ultimately decided to accept Mark Cuban’s deal. Let’s jump ahead and get a Shred Skinz update to see how the company is doing now that the Shark Tank episode has aired.

Shred Skinz reached an entirely new audience in the hours after Shark Tank aired their company. Sales were boosted and there’s no doubt now that the company will reach a new record in annual sales for 2022.
