Moment Meditation Drink appeared on Shark Tank on November 30, 2020. Founders Aisha Chottani and Faheem Kajee left the tank without a deal from the sharks, even though they all liked the product. Moment Drink appeared on Shark Tank Season 12 Episode 6 and was introduced to the sharks by founders Aisha Chottani and Faheem Kajee. Moment Drink is essentially an “on-the-go” meditation in a bottle and is designed to give its drinkers the same effects as a meditation session. Moment Drink had only launched a month and a half ago when it appeared on the show and had managed to earn $15,000 in sales. Each bottle costs $0.90 cents to make and retails for $1.69 plus shipping.

Things started to take a bad turn for Aisha and Faheem when they shared that they wanted to create a subscription model for Moment since they had a $20 customer acquisition cost. However, Kevin O’Leary warned that this model has never worked for a beverage company and the other sharks agreed. Moment Drink left the tank without a deal from one of the sharks.

At the time of writing, there hasn’t been an official Moment Drink update after Shark Tank. A quick look at the Moment website shows that Aisha and Faheem are still trying to make the subscription service work, and have options for bi-weekly and monthly refill plans. It’ll be interesting to see if it works for them or if Kevin O’Leary was correct.
