The sharks wanted to learn about Underease Underwear’s sales. Buck and Arlene told the sharks that in the year prior to filming, they had generated about $37,000 in sales.
This was down some from each of the prior two years when they brought in $67,000 and $83,000. Each unit retailed for $24.95.
Robert Herjavec and Daymond John felt that the market was too niche, so they dropped out. Kevin Harrington quickly dropped out as well.
Barbara Corcoran said the underwear didn’t look comfortable, so she dropped out next. Kevin O’Leary just wasn’t interested so he dropped out last.
With no offers from the sharks, Buck and Arlene were forced to leave
We have sad news to share in our Underease Underwear update. It turns out, after many years of moderate success, the company eventually shut down in 2021 due to financial losses.
