Radiate offers a convenient and mess-free campfire experience. Packaged in a compact, eight-inch diameter can, it uses recycled paper pulp and soy wax to create a realistic campfire effect.

These portable fires burn for 3-5 hours, making them ideal for roasting marshmallows or hot dogs. Extinguishing the flame is simple – just replace the lid.

For added convenience, Radiate can even be doused with water and re-lit when you’re ready to enjoy the warmth again.

Brent informed the sharks that Radiate wasn’t their first entrepreneurial endeavor. He and his partner previously launched Fleur de Spa, a successful online store selling their own skincare products.

Their experience with launching a product likely helped them with the Radiate Kickstarter campaign, which raised over $6,200 in April 2017.

Brent explained that their product offers a convenient campfire experience for any outdoor setting. He claimed it is a safer and more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional campfires.

He further explained that the product is proudly manufactured in the United States. To cater to different needs, they come in various pack sizes: a two-pack for $49, a four-pack for $95, and an eight-pack for $186.

After the pitch, the entrepreneurs distributed samples to the sharks. Robert Herjavec wasted no time in igniting his. They then revealed the production cost per unit to be $5.75, with a retail price of $25.

Lori Greiner expressed concern about the burn time, saying that five hours is not enough. However, other sharks disagreed, finding five hours to be a substantial duration.

The sharks compared the entrepreneurs’ products to Instafire, but the entrepreneurs clarified that Instafire is designed to assist in starting traditional campfires, not to act as a replacement.

The entrepreneurs reported impressive early sales, having shipped roughly 11,000 units in just 30 days. It’s worth noting that 400 of these sales stemmed from their successful crowdfunding campaign.

Barbara Corcoran showed interest in the business and offered $50,000 for a 25% equity stake, but the entrepreneurs did not respond.

Mark Cuban, however, found the product too heavy and exited the deal.

Lori Greiner also drops out of the deal, citing a potential conflict with another product in her portfolio.

Robert Herjavec and guest shark Rohan Oza both saw potential.

Rohan offered the same terms as Barbara, but Robert quickly matched them. However, after a brief discussion with Rohan, Robert sweetened his deal and offered $100,000 for 25% equity.

Recognizing this as a strong offer, Brent and Bryan quickly accepted Robert’s proposal.

Now that we know how the negotiations ended let’s get a quick Radiate update to see how the company has been doing since appearing on the show.

Shark Tank Radiate Update

In our Radiate update research, we found that we finalized the deal with Robert. As is typical for companies featured on the show, Radiate experienced a significant sales surge.

The product gained widespread media attention, appearing in various news outlets, and garnered mostly positive online reviews.

Brent and Bryan’s success continued, and they received a Radiate update segment that showcased a celebratory evening event. During this event, Robert joined the company to light hundreds of Radiate canisters as night fell.

We are happy to report that Radiate remains a thriving business, boasting annual revenue of $2 million.

It looks like Brent and Bryan are heading in the right direction, and we can’t wait to see where our next Radiate update takes us.
