Table Jacks Update

  • Entrepreneurs: Steve Christian
  • Business: Table jack, furniture stabilizer
  • Ask: $100,000 for 25% equity
  • Result: No deal
  • Sharks: None

Steve came onto Shark Tank Season 6 sharing how after being in the restaurant business for years, he saw what a problem wobbly tables were for both the restaurant and the person dining in. His Table Jacks were a simple and cost-effective solution to this common problem.

He told the sharks that Table Jacks had been in business for about two years, earning $200,000 in lifetime sales. He was a devoted entrepreneur and even sold off two of his restaurants to run this new business.

While his sales numbers were nothing to write home about, several of the sharks still seemed interested in Table Jacks.

Kevin O’Leary, however, was not interested, and openly admitted very early on that he would not be making an investment in Table Jacks. After Kevin dropped out, the topic of margins came up.

Steve said that a single package costs just $3.65 to produce and sells for $15.

Barbara Corcoran and Lori Greiner didn’t see any way that they could make an investment in Table Jacks. Robert Herjavec and Mark Cuban agreed that the business was not at a stage where investment would make sense, so they both dropped out as well.

What became of this company after failing to secure a deal? Keep reading our Table Jacks update to find out!
