Soul's Calling Update

  • Entrepreneurs: Gina Cotroneo
  • Business: Gifts and Accessories
  • Ask: $150,000 for 25% equity
  • Result: No deal
  • Sharks: None

Gina presented her products to the sharks and explained that her company Soul’s Calling was her effort to add happiness to the world. From umbrellas to flip flops, her gifts and accessories had positive messages on them for others to see and enjoy.

In the two years prior to filming, Gina had only grossed $29,000 which was concerning for all of the sharks. Kevin O’Leary was the first shark to drop out, stating that her valuation didn’t make sense based on the numbers.

Daymond John loved Gina’s passion for her business but didn’t want to invest, so he dropped out. Robert Herjavec admired Gina but decided to go out. Barbara Corcoran didn’t see the business as being investible so she too dropped out.

With no offers from the sharks, Gina was forced to leave the tank without a deal. What happened next for her company? Keep reading our Soul’s Calling update to find out.

We have mixed news to report in our Soul’s Calling update. For a few years, Gina kept her business operating with very few sales. She eventually sold the company in 2012 for an unknown amount of money.

This will be our final Soul’s Calling update.
