The latest dance craze, according to Brian Lim, is called “gloving”, which is basically a dance show for glowing fingers. He’s created specialty gloves with lights, which are a necessity for the light shows these gloves are used for. Will his product get him a deal on Shark Tank Season 6? Brian entered the tank with a dance crew, that put on a light show using the Emazing Lights gloves that he created. With the lights turned down and the music turned up, the guys put on a great show and their fingers seemed to dance through the air. The gloves, depending on the set purchased, have differed levels of programming abilities.

The company had generated more than $13 million in gross sales prior to filming. Products sold for between $20.00 and $120.00 and it cost between $10.00 and $17.00 per unit to make With more than 90% of revenue coming from online sales, the sharks were impressed with the overall numbers. 

Kevin O’Leary decided to make an offer of $650,000 as a loan in exchange for 3% equity, but Brian quickly declined. Daymond John offered $650,000 in exchange for 20% of any licensing deals he would secure. Robert Herjavec and Lori Greiner teamed up to make an offer of $1,000,000 in exchange for 8% equity. Mark Cuban said he’d go in with Daymond, offering $650,000 for 5% equity, while Daymond would get 20% of licensing deals.

We’ve got sad news to report in our Emazing Lights update! On January 9, 2023, the company shared on their Instagram account that after 13 years in business they have decided to close down. A ban on gloving in clubs and the pandemic, ultimately made it too hard to survive. This will be our final Emazing Lights update.
