- Ask: $75,000 for 10% equity
- Result: $75,000 for 35% equity

A single HummViewer costs about $10 to produce, and John admitted that he sells them at a price point of $59.95. He has already sold 500 units over the span of the life of the company, and needs a shark to help take it to the next level.
Kevin O’Leary wasn’t interested at all in HummViewer, so he quickly dropped out. Daymond John and Mark Cuban also quickly dropped out without making an offer.
Lori Greiner had a similar opinion and just couldn’t see herself making the investment, but there was still one shark remaining. Daniel Lubetzky decided to offer $75,000 for 35% equity. The couple only received one offer and it was for about three and a half times more equity than they likely had hoped for. Even still, John and Joan quickly accepted his offer and struck a deal.

Online sales were immediately boosted after the show aired, which should help boost numbers for a while and will give the product some good press. Daniel will likely be able to help John and Joan increase their online presence and marketing to boost sales even further.
