The company had been in business for two years at the time of their 2014 appearance. In the year prior to Shark Tank, Noam and Irene’s had achieved $122,000 in sales. In the then-current year, they expected to hit $300,000. One roll of their bamboo cloths cost $12-$15, which the sharks thought was high, but as Lori Greiner pointed out, it saved money in the long run relative to conventional paper towels.

Kevin O’Leary made an offer for $200,000 in exchange for 8% interest, plus the 10% equity in their company as an incentive. Noam said he was interested in the offer, but only if Kevin were able to bring other sharks on board.

Lori Greiner loved the product and called it a hero– she offered the pair their ask– $200,000 in exchange for 10%. Noam and Irene gladly accepted, and they walked away with a deal. What happened next for the company? Keep reading our Bambooee update to find out!
