Shark Tank Carsik Bib Update

Carsick Bib update

  • Entrepreneur: Les Cookson
  • Business: Bib for motion sickness
  • Ask: $30,000 for 15% equity
  • Result: No deal
  • Shark: None

Les walks into the tank and thoroughly demonstrates how the Carsik Bib works, making the sharks wince and laugh. He goes into detail about how the Carsik Bib functions and how it helps deal with the consequences of motion sickness.

Guest shark Jeff Foxworthy says he finds it hard to listen to Les due to the fake vomit used in the demonstration. Likewise, the rest of the sharks show their amusement.

Robert Herjavec asks what motivated Les to come up with the bib. Les says it’s ultimately thanks to his own parenting experiences.

However, Barbara Corcoran is curious about the best way to use it, and Daymond John asks to see one of the samples.

Each Carsik Bib costs just $0.19 to manufacture. Robert asks about sales, and Les says he only did a small test run online, with 160 units sold.

Additionally, Les has invested $1,300 into the company, and works on everything himself. Sadly, this isn’t enough to entice the sharks.

At this point, Daymond speaks up, and says he doesn’t like the valuation, so for that reason, he is out.

Kevin O’Leary follows, because he doesn’t see how the product could possibly be successful.

Further, Jeff is worried about liability. While he likes Les, he is ultimately out.

Robert is equally worried about the potential health hazards of the bib, so for this reason, he too goes out.

Lastly, Barbara Corcoran agrees with them, saying she can’t imagine putting the bib on her daughter. Instead, she goes out.

Unfortunately for Les, he has to leave the tank without a deal. What do you think happened following Shark Tank?

Keep reading our Carsik Bib update to find out to find out what happened next.

Unfortunately, research for our Carsik Bib update revealed that the company is no longer in business. Despite this, it certainly wasn’t the end of the road for Les.

He went on to eventually invent the Lucy Drawing Tool, which helps anyone draw like a professional artist. Then later, in 2022, he returned to Shark Tank to pitch his new company, and landed a deal with Daymond John.

Undoubtedly, the moral of the story is to never give up! That’s the good news, however the bad news is that this will be our final Carsik Bib update.
