  • Ask: $200,000 for 10% equity

LIFTiD appeared on Shark Tank Season 12 Episode 5 and pitched its neurostimulation product to the sharks. Basically, LIFTiD is a neurostimulator that supposedly increases your brain function by stimulating neurons in the brain. You simply place the device on your forehead while you’re doing some type of mental activity, and receive small jolts of electricity that supposedly sparks your unused neurons.

If you’re a long time Shark Tank fan, you won’t be surprised that Mark Cuban was instantly skeptical. However, some of the other sharks seemed more open to it and were even willing to try out the product themselves during the pitch. Ken shared that the company had sold 1,240 units so far, resulting in $126,000 in sales.  However, at the end of the day, none of the sharks were willing to take on the liability that neurostimulation brought with it and LIFTiD left the tank without a deal.

At the time of writing, there hasn’t been an official LIFTiD update. Looking over its website, it seems that the company is still going strong and managed to win the Gadget Flow Best Product award in 2019. If we hear anything new about LIFTiD, we will be sure to let you know and update this post with any new information.
