  • Business: Synthetic cadavers and body parts
  • Ask: $3,000,000 for 10% equity
  • Result:  $3,000,000 for 25% equity
  • Sharks:  Robert Herjavec

Christopher brought a full display of his synthetic cadavers and body parts to the tank. His company SynDaver Labs is the only company in the world that produces these products to replace live animals, cadavers and live patients for the purposes of trauma training, surgical education and medical device development. He holds 10 patents for his innovative products.

The company’s synthetic cadaver cost around $40,000, while human cadavers cost anywhere from $5,000.00 to $10,000.00. Christopher explained that his cadavers last and are reusable. One amazing feature is that practically any surgery can be performed on his product and it even feels just like live tissue.

Barbara Corcoran was the first shark to drop out, because she didn’t feel like Christopher would be a good partner. Lori Greiner and Kevin O’Leary believed this particular investment was not a safe way to get their money back in the short-term, so they also dropped out. Robert Herjavec was interested and offered $3 million in exchange for 35% equity, but Christopher said he couldn’t give away that much of the business.

Mark Cuban felt that investing would bring too much risk, so he dropped out. Robert countered his own offer with 25% equity and Christopher accepted! What happened next for his company? Keep reading our SynDaver Labs update to find out!

We have good news to report in our SynDaver Labs update. The company is still in business and continues to earn more than $10 million in gross revenue every single year. SynDaver Labs is apparently considering the idea of becoming a publicly traded company in the near future as well. Products are available on the SynDaver Labs website.
