Jarret Parker and Raja Rahman had the talent, a strong stage act, and years of experience performing around the world, but no funding to launch their own Las Vegas show. To make it happen, they started Jarret & Raja Productions and planned a full-scale magic-and-music performance called Miracles: The Show. Will the sharks help bring the curtain up? Raja and Jarrett entered Shark Tank Season 7, seeking $750,000 for 40% equity in their magic illusion performance brand. Unfortunately, they left without a deal as the sharks passed due to high risk and competition in the Las Vegas market.

In terms of a Jarrett & Raja Productions update, the company used their Shark Tank exposure to gain interest from other producers, leading to multiple show appearances, including One Epic Night in Las Vegas.

Raja and Jarrett stepped into Shark Tank with more than just a pitch—they brought the show with them.

To give the sharks a real taste of what they were building, they performed a preview from Miracles, their live stage production that blends music and magic.

The sharks watched closely. The illusions impressed them, and the performance sparked genuine curiosity.

Raja and Jarrett explained that they needed an investment to officially launch Miracles on the Las Vegas Strip.

The funds would go toward production and marketing. Their goal was to create a standout experience that combined classical music with large-scale magic.

To support their pitch, Jarrett handed out flyers promoting the upcoming show.

Robert Herjavec asked if they already had a venue secured.

In response, Raja said they were in discussions with a hotel on the Strip, but they needed to come in with full funding before any deal could be finalized.

This shift raised concerns. Kevin O’Leary pointed out the financial risk. If the show didn’t perform well, investors could lose everything.

Robert added that even selling out shows wouldn’t guarantee a profit, since production costs tend to rise quickly.

Raja acknowledged the risks and assured the sharks they had a plan to manage costs.

Next, Kevin asked about logistics—specifically, seating capacity and ticket prices.

Jarrett said the venue could hold 1,600 people, and tickets would be priced at around $59.99 each.

Kevin then asked how many shows they planned to run daily. Raja replied that they would start with one show per day, with room to scale up if demand increased.

At this point, Mark Cuban voiced concerns about the market. He said the Las Vegas audience was limited.

Robert brought up a bigger shift. He said that younger tourists now preferred nightclubs over traditional stage performances.

Mark agreed and explained that this changing trend is why Vegas venues rent out space instead of investing in performers.

Raja said they planned to use billboard ads and traditional marketing to draw in crowds. But Mark didn’t like that approach. He called it too expensive and ineffective for their situation.

Jarrett answered that their act combined live classical piano with large-scale illusions. Raja added that their ultimate goal was to become the next Siegfried and Roy.

Even so, the sharks weren’t fully sold. Mark said they were clearly talented, but talent alone wouldn’t convert a TV appearance into ticket sales. He was the first to drop out.

Barbara Corcoran followed. She compared the investment to gambling and said she wasn’t ready to take that chance.

Robert bowed out next. While he liked their energy, he didn’t believe the strategy would succeed in today’s Las Vegas environment.

Kevin kept it brief. The risk was simply too high, so he passed.

That left Lori Greiner. She didn’t think Vegas was the right city for it. Instead, she suggested trying markets like New York or Chicago. She passed because of their focus on Las Vegas.

This left Raja and Jarrett leaving with no deal.

Miracles became One Epic Night, which appeared in several venues, one of which was in Las Vegas.

Research for our Jarrett & Raja Productions update found that COVID-19 halted their shows in 2020. However, they resumed live performances in October 2022 with “Magic vs. Music” at the Stratosphere.
