  • Entrepreneurs:  Patrick Ambron
  • Business: Online service that improves search results
  • Ask: $2,000,000 for 13.5% equity
  • Result:  No deal
  • Sharks:  None

Patrick brought his online platform service, Brand Yourself to the tank. He explained that his company provides users with information about how to approve search results relating to their personal information online. This could potentially help with getting jobs or impressing dates, but while the concept of the company’s platform was fairly simple, convincing the sharks to invest $2 million is not an easy task.

At the time of filming, the company had doubled its sales every year, but the impressive numbers were not enough to convince Kevin O’Leary that the company was worth $15 million in an implied valuation, so he went out. Daymond John also dropped out, because the risk was way too significant from a financial perspective. Lori Greiner believed the company would have to spend too much on advertising to compete, so she went out. Mark Cuban dropped out next because he saw too many issues with Patrick’s business plan.

Robert Herjavec offered $2 million in exchange for 25% equity, but Patrick quickly declined and ended up leaving the tank without a deal. What happened next for his company? Keep reading our Brand Yourself update to find out!
