Ooakshell’s headbands are all hand-painted at Mika’s home. As a result, she has great margins on her sales. The sharks were impressed when she revealed that she had $386,000 in sales in the year of filming, and that was only year-to-date sales.
She came to the tank seeking production help. She worked long hours to help realize her dream and needed a shark to teach her a better way.
Guest Shark Emma Grede loved the product. She offered $150,000 for 20% equity immediately. Mika countered for 13%, but Emma explained the value she’d bring to the business. As a result, Mika ends up accepting the original offer. What does that mean for Mika and her company? Find out in our
