Kirsten Brand devised a way to help her furry companion, Emma, navigate stressful and noisy situations like fireworks and parties. Pawnix are noise-canceling helmets designed for dogs with Bluetooth capabilities to help your pets stay calm and relaxed.

At the time of the Shark Tank Season 13 episode filming, Pawnix was still a young company. In just about a year, the company boasted $105,000 in sales—not bad for a very niche company.

First, the sharks love how cute the helmet is. It’s available in four sizes to ensure a good fit for your pet’s head shape.

They also think Kirsten’s sales are impressive, all things considered. However, they seem less than enthusiastic about the product itself.

Robert Herjavec loves dogs but not the high price point. The Pawnix headphones sell for about $200, which is too much for him.

He also thinks the market is too niche. For these reasons, he goes out.

Lori Greiner follows next because she isn’t sure they need all of the electronic components. Also, she agrees with Robert about the high price point.

Although Lori thinks Emma looks adorable in the helmet, she goes out.

Meanwhile, Daymond John thinks the product would be challenging to explain. It isn’t the business for him, so he goes out as well.

Mark Cuban, likewise, just isn’t excited about the product. Therefore, he goes out, too.

This leaves Kevin O’Leary as the last shark on deck. However, he doesn’t think he wants dog headphones in his Mr. Wonderful portfolio, so he also drops out.

Unfortunately, Kirsten and Emma leave the tank without a deal. But where is the company now? Let’s find out in our Pawnix update.

Although there hasn’t been much news about Pawnix since Shark Tank, the company is working hard and trying to grow.

The headphones are available for purchase on the Pawnix website, so it seems that for now, Kirsten is still in business. She offers four colors and a lower-cost refurbished model, as well.

Also, the company provides lots of helpful tips for product use and even has a suggested playlist of soothing classical music to keep pups calm.

Kirsten is committed to making lives better for our furry friends, as well. The company has a Give & Grow program that donates $5 of every purchase to a dog-centric charity and also gives customers the chance to increase the donation amount.

Additionally, Kirsten is aiming to set the company apart from competitors with personalized customer service and USA-made products. She also encourages customers to support other similar companies.

Even without a deal, Kirsten is grateful for the experience and exposure. In a blog post on the Pawnix site, she says that being on Shark Tank helped her to reach a new audience and expand her dog-loving customer base.

Looking forward, we hope our next Pawnix update will have some more good news about the company!
