Woody brought his travel narration app, Autio to
Kevin O’Leary wanted to know about the valuation. Woody told the sharks that his company generated $200,000 in gross revenue in 2021 and more than $700,000 in the 2022 calendar year.
Even more, Woody told the sharks that he had some other investors that were buying in at a higher valuation and that the sharks were being offered a discount.
The sharks seemed to be impressed by these sales figures, but most of them couldn’t quite get over the high valuation.
All of the sharks dropped out except for Kevin O’Leary, who offered $1 million for 15% equity. Woody managed to get him negotiated to 10% equity, but even then wouldn’t accept the deal, so he simply decided to walk out.
